My abby hoodie was washed and now the headphones wont work can i fix them?

the abby hoodie has machine washable earphones i did everything but someone put it in the dryer do you this thats why they wont work because im really angry i need to know|||as much as i hate avril, those things are cool. wish they would come out with more Masculine hoodies. if they completely dry out and still dont work then u are skrewed. that sux sorry|||i had that experience too. that headphones i bought from http://www.headphoneonsale.co.uk were great in sound isolation. what a pity!
