How do I share this story from Dear Abby about dogs?

It's called "A Dog;s Life" Dog lovers need do to read this. I don't know how to share this story with you. I have printed it and it is hanging on my wall, now I want to pass it on. How can I do this? I don't want votes or anything I just want you to read this if you love your dog.|||I tried searching for it, but all I could find under Dear Abby was A Dog's Prayer. Is this it?

Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of mine.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside, for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements. And I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Though you had no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land, for you are my god and I am your devoted worshipper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest - and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

Dear Abby is written by Abigail Van Buren, also known as Jeanne Phillips, and was founded by her mother, Pauline Phillips. Write Dear Abby at www.DearAbby.comor P.O. |||I do love my dog, and I have heard of it and part of the story from my friend, and it sounded really sad and happy. But I have a lot of trouble reading sad animal stories. I about bawled my eyes out when I read "Where the Red Fern Grows." I have to wait until I am not such a softy so I can read it...you can probably go on google and find a website with the whole book on it.|||YOu could either type it up yourself, or you could search for it and see if its posted anywhere online. If you have or have acess to a scanner you could, but then it would be an image and you would need to have an accouunt someplace that hosts them to post it here.

ADDITION: I think when you say "load", you mean my last suggestion. YOu have a paper copy, correct? You could scan it, then you would have an image of it on your computer. You would not be able to copy the words here. YOu would need to find an image hosting website, and upload the image there. You could then load it up there, then link to its page on the site to show people here.

YOu can also search for "Dear Abby Dog's Life" on a search engine. Dear Abby may have a webstie, or someone may have typed it up already. If you already know the site, you can do this. Hightlight the adress, hit Ctrl C or Ctrl X, and go to the text box in a question, and hit Ctrl P.

YOu can also sit there, and go into Word or a question, and type what it says.|||Then, again, you might just want to post the address for Dear Abby. She SELLS this and if you just post it on the net, you are taking from her.|||Find the interent page that has the whole story on it

Copy that link

Past it under this question (or a new one) in the main text box. It should turn into a link.|||I can't think of any other suggestions that are different than the ones already brought up but, Hurry and figure it out soon because I would love to read it.|||Post a link, or post the whole thing in a "question."
