I would like to be Abby from Let Me In for Halloween but I don't really know how she dresses. All I know for sure is she goes barefoot in the movie. I'm going to a Halloween dance at school and I want to go as Abby. I need helpful tips and I'm 13.|||Her always being barefoot is the most consistent signature of her character, so that's the first essential thing you start with, but watch the movie again to get an idea of what else stands out about her. Make up will probably be important.|||According to the production notes over at the Int Movie Data Base, the costuming for the character Abby was based by the Director on a memory of a homelsee girl he once saw - kinda older, worn clothes, I suppose. If I recall correctly, she mostly wears jeans and old t-shirts, and at night an old fashioned long night dress.
Always barefoot of course, even in the snow. You would be indoors at your dance, so barefoot would be easy.
The make up idea is good - maybe something to make your skin paler than normal, and maybe very red lipstick? Maybe hair slightly disarranged?
More: if you do the long night dress, you can also do fake blood trails down the sides of your mouth, and blood splatters on your bare feet.
