How much money do Jessica Watson and Abby Sunderland's parents have?

Seeing them set sail in their million dollar boats on a "dangerous" journey... don't they have something else to spend their money on? If they die out there will their parents be prosecuted?|||The boats do not cost that much. Abby's boat cost $90.000 and Jessicas cost less. Money have been spent in fitting them with the needed equipment. They have sponsors who pay for a part of the cost. Most equipment makers have given huge discounts for being mentioned as sponsors. The parents of both families are not rich, but more middle-class. The girls, at least Jessica will be rich from the book sales. No, the parents will not be procecuted. There is no requirement to lock 16-year olds indoors.|||I find it inredable the Columbus nay sayers of the world. We would be better off without these jerks. Jessica and Abby are wonderful women that didn't know they could not sail around the world solo. Thank God for that knowledge.
