He compares the miniscule risk of crossing the street to the lunacy of being stuck in the middle of tha Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on a small boat. Undoubtedly the dumbest statement I've ever heard. Thoughts?|||Abby Sunderland is mature beyond her years and obviously more experienced at sailing than most people. I do not think her father would have let her attempt this feat unless he had full confidence she would succeed. What he is saying is that there are risks in everyday life as well as the risks Abby had to encounter. The Sunderlands are adventurers, I applaud Abby for her bravery and strength and also her family for supporting her. We all need to be a bit more open minded, yes it was a risk, but it was a risk she was well prepared to take.|||Clearly you are not very adventurous. Some people are.


The world needs both kinds of people.|||He has shopped a reality show about his family. These poor children have been pawns for their parents' fantasy of being on TV.
